The 2024 NFL Draft was a night to remember

First-Round Trades

The Minnesota Vikings made two significant trades in the first round, moving up to select Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy and Alabama edge defender Dallas Turner. The Vikings traded the No. 11, No. 129, and No. 157 picks to the New York Jets for the No. 10 and No. 203 picks. They then traded the No. 23 pick, a 2024 fifth-rounder, and 2025 third- and fourth-rounders to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the No. 17 pick.

The Detroit Lions also made a significant move, trading up five spots to select Alabama CB Terrion Arnold. They sent the No. 29 pick and a third-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for the No. 24 pick and a 2025 seventh-rounder.
