NFL Dreams Come True for JMU’s Reggie Brown and Jamree Kromah

The NFL Draft is a dream come true for many college football players.

The 2024 NFL Draft has come and gone, but for two James Madison University (JMU) players, the excitement is just beginning. Wide receiver Reggie Brown and defensive lineman Jamree Kromah have signed contracts as undrafted free agents with the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears, respectively.

From JMU to the NFL

Brown, a 1,000-yard receiver last season, was an Honorable Mention All-American from College Football Network and First Team All-Sun Belt Conference wide receiver. He recorded 53 receptions for 1,054 receiving yards with a team-leading nine receiving touchdowns. His impressive stats didn’t go unnoticed, and now he’s taking his talents to the NFL.

Kromah, on the other hand, was selected to the 99th annual East-West Shrine Bowl and was a HERO Sports Group of Five First Team All-American and First Team All-Sun Belt defensive lineman. In 13 starts this past season, he tallied 60 tackles to go with 20.5 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
