Former NFL Player’s Son Goes Missing Amid Abuse Allegations

The grandmother of Bryson Muir, the 14-year-old son of former Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Daniel Muir, has spoken out amid an investigation into allegations of abuse against the teenager. Bryson was reported missing on Friday, and a Silver Alert was issued in Indiana.

According to Cheryl Wright, Bryson’s grandmother, she last saw the boy on June 16, when he was with his mother, Kristen Muir. Wright expressed her concerns to FOX 59, stating that she believed Bryson was beaten by his father and was being held on a religious compound in Logansport.

“His face was battered. When I got him, he had a black eye and busted lip,” Wright told the station. “His whole face was swollen. I can only imagine how many times he had been hit in the face for it to be like that.”

Wright believes that Daniel Muir gave his son the black eye and that the boy was “brainwashed” into living on the compound. She said the boy did not want to talk about what happened, which prompted her to call the police.

Police eventually found Kristen Muir’s SUV, but Bryson was not in the car. Wright said the officers believe that he had probably been switched into another car.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are worried that Bryson is in “extreme danger.” The case has sparked concerns about the safety and well-being of the teenager.
