Jared Allen: The NFL Great Still Waiting for His Hall of Fame Call
Jared Allen, the former defensive end who played for four teams in his 12-year NFL career, is still waiting for his call to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Despite his impressive resume, which includes four All-Pro selections, five Pro Bowl appearances, and 136 sacks, Allen has yet to hear his name called.

Allen’s Career Speaks for Itself
Allen’s career is marked by his impressive stats, including leading the NFL in sacks twice (2007 and 2011) and holding the records for most safeties in a career (four) and a season (two). Despite these achievements, Allen remains humble, stating that his career speaks for itself and that he doesn’t politic to get into the Hall of Fame.
“My career speaks for itself. Whether the voters like me or dislike me, I got no control over that,” Allen said in a recent interview.
A Hall of Fame Snub
Allen’s snub from the Hall of Fame has been a topic of discussion, with many wondering why he hasn’t been inducted yet. Allen himself admits that it bothers him, but he’s not letting it get to him.
“I’d be lying to say that it didn’t p— me off, that I didn’t get in. I thought I’d get in on my second year, third year, last year I thought I was in for sure, it didn’t work out. It sucks when it doesn’t happen, but I don’t put my stock into it after that. I say my piece and move on.”

Moving On
Despite the snub, Allen is at peace, focusing on his family and daily life. He’s not letting the Hall of Fame define him, and he’s content with his accomplishments.
“I got kids that love me, a wife that loves me, and chores that need to be done,” Allen said.
