Kelce, 36, was highly sought after by multiple networks, including NBC, CBS, and Amazon. However, he ultimately chose ESPN, where he will join the Monday Night Countdown team. His brother, Travis, is already a popular podcaster, and Jason has expressed interest in media.
“I’m excited to bring my passion for football to ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown,” Kelce said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to working with the team and bringing a unique perspective to the show.”
Kelce’s media career is off to a strong start, with a documentary series on Amazon Prime Video, titled “Kelce,” which followed him during his final season with the Eagles. He and his wife, Kylie, have a pre-existing relationship with Amazon, making them a natural fit for the project.
