The 2025 NFL Draft is still over nine months away, but it’s never too early to start speculating about how the Las Vegas Raiders’ draft selections might shake out. With the Raiders expected to win around 10 games and make the postseason, they’re likely to pick in the early 20s.
One of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is whether the Raiders will go quarterback in the first round. With Carson Beck, the Georgia Bulldogs quarterback, already impressing in the 2023 Orange Bowl, he’s likely to be a top contender for the pick. But the Raiders may also choose to add a cornerback, with players like Travis Hunter and Will Johnson waiting in the wings.
In our early 2025 NFL Mock Draft, we’ve got the Raiders selecting Luther Burden III, a wide receiver from Missouri, with the 21st overall pick. Burden becomes the first wide receiver taken No. 1 overall since Keyshawn Johnson in 1996, and could provide a welcome boost to the Raiders’ offense.
Elsewhere in the draft, the Tennessee Titans are looking for help in the secondary, and it comes in the form of possibly the best cornerback in the draft in Johnson. The Denver Broncos, meanwhile, are sticking with Bo Nix as their quarterback of the future and opting for Tetairoa McMillan, a wide receiver from Arizona.
