Seahawks Set to Clash with Titans in Rare Joint Practices
As the NFL preseason approaches, the Seattle Seahawks are gearing up for a unique opportunity to test their mettle against another team. In a rare occurrence, the Seahawks will hold joint practices with the Tennessee Titans on August 14 and 15. This unusual circumstance is likely due to the Seahawks’ location in the upper left corner of the map, making it difficult to find teams willing to travel to Seattle.

The joint practices will take place at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville, Tennessee, ahead of the teams’ preseason game on August 17. This setup makes sense, given that the Seahawks are already scheduled to play the Titans in a preseason game.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to get some quality work in against a talented team like the Titans,” said Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald.
Both the Seahawks and Titans are entering their first seasons under new head coaches. Macdonald, the former Baltimore Ravens and University of Michigan defensive coordinator, is looking to make a strong impression in his inaugural season. Meanwhile, the Titans are under the guidance of Brian Callahan, who was most recently the offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Seahawks and Titans have a recent history, having faced off last season on Christmas Eve. The Seahawks rallied to beat the Titans 20-17 in a thrilling Week 16 contest.

This joint practice session presents an excellent opportunity for both teams to fine-tune their skills and gain valuable experience against a quality opponent. With new head coaches at the helm, it will be interesting to see how these teams adapt and evolve throughout the preseason.
